According to the corp member, who helped a boy she saw hawking vegetables on the streets of Port Harcourt secure a scholarship, she saw him hawking, took a picture with him and someone who saw the photo on social media reached out to help him. She wrote; “You never know how far one thing could lead to another. Dad Sues Principal For Confiscating His Son’s iPhone

An angry Singaporean man is suing the principal of a prestigious school for confiscating his son’s mobile phone for three months. According to Straits Times, the secondary school bans students from using phones during school hours as it considers them a distraction. Now, the student’s father is now claiming damages and demanding the school returns the phone, arguing that it has infringed on property rights. The man had lent his iPhone to his son, and it was confiscated on 21 March after the boy was caught using it during school hours, according to court documents. The boy was told the phone would be returned after the three month confiscation period. The father has since filed a lawsuit claiming an unknown amount of damages, as well as a legal injunction demanding the phone be returned immediately while the case proceeds. A 12-year-old Mississippi girl literally had a hand in her baby brother’s birth when she helped the doctor deliver him. Jacee Dellapena was trying to watch her brother be born on Tuesday when she started crying because she thought she’d miss the birth because she was too short, WBLT reports. That’s when the doctor asked Jacee’s mother, Dede Carraway, if she’d allow the girl to help deliver the baby. “I actually, like delivered him, like, he let me actually push down and pull the baby out….I was like, ‘Wow, like I’ve played fake doctor before, but this is, like, the real thing, this is is the real deal.’ I was really nervous,” Jacee told the station.
